      <image:title>Approach - What We Do.</image:title>
<image:caption>Occupational Therapists are rehabilitation and health care professionals who help people of all ages and abilities who have experienced a significant illness, injury, or health condition that is impacting their ability to participate in everyday activities they need for daily living. Illness or injury can make it difficult for people to do the things they want to do or need to do in their daily lives. We call these daily activities “occupations,” and it is these occupations that give value, meaning, structure, and purpose to our lives. Illness or injury can impact our occupations across different areas of our life such as our ability to work or succeed at school, taking care of ourselves (self-care) or our families, and our recreational pursuits that are vital to our enjoyment and quality of life. Occupational Therapy is a holistic profession, where we consider the whole person’s health, be that physical, mental, and emotional when supporting clients in their recovery and return to well being.</image:caption>
